Which Jig Do I Need?
Three questions and you've got your jig. Measure your door, check your hinges, then find your row below.
- Door height – standard 2040mm, or taller 2340mm?
- Hinge size – 100mm, 85mm, or 89mm radius (round-corner)?
- Number of hinges – 3, 4 or 5, and are they equally spaced or 2 at the top?
All our hinge jigs set the top hinge 150mm down from the top of the door and the bottom hinge 200mm up from the bottom (radius jigs match the Hume and Corinthian pre-hung set-out).

Our jigs are used with a Makita laminate trimmer fitted with a template guide and a 6mm straight bit. Get the bit, guide and a corner chisel together in the Hinge Jig Starter Kit and save 10%.
